For decades, Chinese workers have been making tremendous contributions to the global economy with their hardship and diligence.

Now a new generation of migrant workers born in the 1990s are joining them. Most of them were born in rural inland regions, but never worked in farm lands. Instead, they came to the cities, hoping to eventually settle down here.

And the new generation of migrant workers in China aspire for more life experience and are looking for career opportunities as opposed to a simple paycheck.
