(Photo/Agencies)She's been touted as the next big thing in Hollywood and now Lily Collins has shown off her movie star credentials.
The 24-year-old actress was given an image overhaul as she posed for a brand new photo shoot in New York on Thursday.
And despite her young years she seemed to slip into the swinging sixties style of the shoot with ease.
Lily stood out amongst the usual shopping crowd thanks to her flamboyant get-up in a monochrome black and white smart poncho-style coat.
She smouldered as she showed off her slim pale legs with a bright red pout and matching scarlet bag.
The star completed her look with a pair of black strappy shoes and her brunette locks were piled on top of her head in a tumbling half up do with a headband completing the retro style.
Collins accessorised with a big pair of studded earrings and a large grin as she set about her work.
And it certainly didn't seem too taxing as the backdrop of the photoshoot was the streets of the Big Apple and designer store Bergdorf Goodman.
At one point Lily smiled and waved as she headed into the shop via the rotating doors.
And getting into the spirit of the shoot she also kicked her leg up for another shot.
She had only arrived in New York a day earlier on Wednesday, where she is set to promote her new film Mortal Instruments.
The down-to-earth 24-year-old, whose career is set to skyrocket after the new Twilight-style film is released, embraced her natural beauty by going fresh-faced during her flight to the city.
After shooting to fame thanks to her breakout role opposite Julia Roberts in 2012's Mirror Mirror, Lily has filmed The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones, the big screen adaptation of Cassandra Clare's best-selling teen fantasy series of novels.
And as well as securing a starring role in the movie, the actress also found love with her co-star Jamie Campbell Bower.
Cassandra recently told MailOnline: 'I remember coming to the set and one of the people who worked on the crew mentioned it. Then I saw them together and they’re so clearly in love and it’s very sweet. I wish them all the happiness.'
