She's known to fans of Mad Men as the prudish Trudy Campbell.

But it appears actress Alison Brie couldn't be more different to her onscreen persona.

The 30-year-old stripped off for a saucy photoshoot with Esquire magazine, posing in a swimsuit daringly slashed to the crotch.

Alison revealed her curves in the black number, which left little to the imagination.

She also posed alongside a pool in another black swimsuit that showed off her stunning figure.

As housewife Trudy, the wife of cheating advertising executive Pete Campbell, Alison dresses in modest 50s-style full skirted dresses that couldn't be more demure.

Alison also has a starring role on Community and sings with a cover band, The Girls.

In her interview with Esquire she gave any potential suitors some hints as to how to win her over, explaining: 'If you're a guy, you should get girls flowers all the time.

'They never get old and you can never get them enough. I'm never disappointed when I get flowers. I always thought guys who don't buy women flowers are such fools.

'All is takes is one. A little goes a long way with flowers.'

And she added that her idea of romance was heading to the park.

'Being on a blanket with the right person,' she explained. 'You don't want to be on a blanket with just anyone.'

And the actress also gave a hint as to how she keeps her perfect body in shape, calling yoga 'my church' and saying running 'never seems like a strenuous exercise and always clears my head.'
