China's first deep-water pipe-laying crane ship "Offshore Oil 201" left Qingdao, Shandong Province for the South China Sea Monday afternoon. The ship will try to lay oil and gas pipelines in the ocean as deep as 1,500 meters for the Liwan 3-1 gas field.
