Shenyang Lvdao Stadium, one of Asia's largest indoor stadiums, was demolished in Shenyang, Liaoning province on June 3, 2012.

With an investment of 800 million yuan ($125.7 million), the stadium was built in 2003 and covers an area of 455,000 square meters. It can hold more than 30,000 people. It was demolished because of inconvenient transportation and rare use.
