A Visionary? Nah, Just a Cool Guy
Here’s what I envision: a separate starter planet for my Outcasts, one that both Imps and Reps get to see. You’d arrive on-planet after a falling out with the Jedi Order or narrow escape from Korriban, hoping to make a few credits and eke out a decent life. Basic missions would be the same but there would be separate, faction-specific story-lines as well. As for buy wow gold general class layout, I’d want ‘Casts to start with the ability to use vibroswords and blasters, as well as have a few subtle Force-based abilities. Stat-wise, I’m not sure what primary makes the most sense, but since this is a flight of fancy, I’ll go with Willpower. Both sets of Outcasts would have the same trainer rift platinum on their Origin World – some kind of Force-sensitive hermit who lives in the hills and talks about the loosely affiliated group of Force users in the galaxy that don’t owe their allegiance to either Jedi or Sith. Trainers later on the in the game would be found in Cantinas or on the lower levels of main faction space stations, rift plat always staying out of the limelight and away from prying eyes. Advanced Classes for Outcasts would see them with the chance to tank, heal or DPS (both as ranged and melee), and for companions I’m imagining AWOL Republic commandos or rogue Imperial agents – there’s a whole slew of great opportunities here for intrigue and backstabbery. Their faction stories d3 gold would also be replete with deception and malice – on the Rep side, Outcasts would do work for rich citizens and take on the odd military job; while Jedi wouldn’t stoop to killing a ‘Cast, they’d always be trying to prove a connection to the Dark Side and have such non-members declared a threat to the Republic. Imperial Outcasts, meanwhile, would work covertly diablo 3 items for the military and Intelligence Service, doing jobs these branches of the Empire simply couldn’t trust to a Sith working for the Dark Council. For ‘Casts on Imperial soil, there would always be the very real threat of discovery and extermination by the Sith. I also think a new, Force-based class would be a great chance to add deeper weapon customization to the game, swtor credits starting with lightsabers (a topic I’ve discussed previously). An Outcasts lightsaber, for example, wouldn’t be based on ancient Jedi methods or recovered from Sith dusty tombs but more of a “junkyard blade”, one cobbled together from spare parts and less-than-optimal gems. Its hum could be lower-pitched, its blade longer or shorter – perhaps sputtering now and again as the power crystal inside struggles to keep up with its master’s needs. Extend that to customization for Jedi and Sith weapons as well as blasters and cannons and you’ve got one hell of an expansion on your hands. This is my idea, TORWarriors, but I’d like to hear yours. What do you think a SWTOR expansion would need to be a success? More Planets? Non-humanoid races? Free-form space combat? Leave a comment and let me know!
