Diablo 3 Vendor Trick Guide – Getting Good Rings and Weapons 2

One of the best armor slots in the game that simultaneously is hard to find good equipment for is the ring slot. Rings are able to contain many affixes and prefixes normally only seen on Weapons such as +weapon damage and increased % attack speed.

These two stats can result in huge increases to your DPS, regardless of what your weapon and other equipment look like. Having two good rings can literally turn a weak character into a powerhouse in Diablo 3, particularly at the lower levels. Rings also typically have high budgets for other useful stats like % magic find, % gold find, and +experience when killing monsters.

The Diablo 3 “Vendor Trick”

Each time you create a new game, the entire game world is randomized. Not only are monsters randomized, but also the attributes and contents of each vendor in the game world. Each vendor usually sells the same item types (i.e. Radek the Fence always sells Rings), but the actual randomized attributes of those rings diablo 3 gold will change each time you join the game.

This means that each time you make a new game, it is like you are getting to see a new drop every time you open the vendor’s panel. Rather than buying items with stats you do not want, you can just leave the game and rejoin over and over again until you get the perfect ring.

Not only can you do this to get good items, but you can also use it to make a lot of gold as well. In particular, there is no limit to the amount of blue-quality items a vendor will sell to you (as long as you have the gold). This means you can join games over and over until buy guild wars 2 gold you get the perfect ring, fill your inventory with them, and then sell the rings you do not need for profit!

In order to make this work, the items have to be best-in-slot for their level range. Otherwise, no one will spend the gold on them. Here are the rings I have had the best luck with selling the following level 6 rings from Radek the Fence:

•Keen Ring of Wounding: 5% increased attack speed, +2-4 damage,
•Scouting Ring of Wounding: +6% magic find, +2-4 damage
•Adventuring Ring of Wounding: +6 experience points on monster kill, rift platinum 2-4 damage
Keen Rings of Wounding sell the fastest, but there is also the most competition for these (I am not the only one that knows about this trick), so the profit margin is lower. Scouting Rings of Wounding and Adventuring Rings of Wounding sell a little slower, but both still do well. You can easily sell 10 Scouting Rings of Wounding Overnight and 4-6 Adventuring Rings of Wounding.

If you do not find the rings with the exact stats above, you will not be able to sell them for profit. No one will buy your 4% increased attack speed and +2-4 damage ring when someone else is selling them with 5% increased attack speed. rift plat Only perfect rings are worth any money.

In addition to rings, the other vendors in town sell weapons and armor. However, the only one that really has a profitable item is Radek the Fence, and you are looking for a Keen Simple Hand Crossbow of the Eel/Angels/Winter/Starlight/etc, where the increased attack speed is 5%, the bonus damage is 2-4, and most importantly the DPS is 18.5. These are very hard to find (can take over 100 joins and rejoins to get), but they are selling for a 5k profit as they are a great twink item and no level 5 weapon comes close to them in terms of DPS – this will easily take you to level 15 without a problem.

Picking up a solid set of rings at level 6 will significantly increase your leveling speed – I strongly recommend it. However, it can be a waste of time to join games over and over. If you do not want to try to make a profit off this strategy, I recommend just grabbing the rings off the auction house from other players who are using this technique.

You might spend 4000 extra gold for two rings that only cost the player buying them 2000, but you will be saving a lot of time at only the cost of 4000 gold. I would only recommend the joining and rejoining strategy if you have 20k+ gold and want to turn it into 30k+ without doing much work.

Applying this Later in the Game

While Radek the Fence is the most well-known vendor to do this with, that is only because he is the best vendor to do it with in the beta test. I can guarantee that this same trick will work with vendors in later acts as well as vendors in higher difficulty modes. The same trick applies – keep making games until you get the perfect ring or weapon for that difficulty level.

You can be sure this will be particularly effective with the first Amulet vendor we encounter in Diablo 3. Amulets and Rings will always be the most valuable item to do this with because neither of these slots can be crafted through Artisans.
