Suzhou DK Lighting recently released a low cost GX53 6W LED to the market.

GX53E 6W LED is a surface mounted, palm size lamp with 75mm diameter and 34.5mm highness. To use with the standard GX53 socket, the ambient lighting designer and other users can easily get effective, enough lumen flux in the compact, limited space.

52Pcs small size SMD high brightness OSRAM LEDs were mounted on a 69mm Dia. PCB. Well-proportioned LEDs and 90% light transmittancePC diffuser presents soft, nature light to the user. No LED spots image, no glare. With 6W power consumption totally, DK GX53E 6W LED can turn out 420LM flux in 2700K , 460LM flux in 4000K/ 6500K, Ra>80 as well, equal to a 13W CFL GX53 lamp or a 40W incandescent lamp, save more energy, and serve several times life cycle of traditional lamps.

Innovative constant LED current technology is applied to this GX53E 6W LED.Under 85~265V AC input voltage, LED always work with 32mA constant current, thus constant flux and high lumen maintenance could be ensured.

• Regulations Compliance

DK designers comprehensively comply varied regulations such as energy star Luminaires_V1, IEC60598, EN55015, EN61547, EN61000 when they design this GX53E 6W LED, and pass all the type tests and is ready for the CE and UL certificates.

The IES LM-79-08 and TM-21 are introduced to the Suzhou DK in their design activities. In the type test of GX53 3W LED, all test methods, test environment, test equipments are compliant to the LM-79 requirements, all test data and results are believable and quotable.

• Thermal Design

DK paid more attentions on the thermal design for this GX53E 6W LED lamp. Scan and monitor every LED suspected high temperature LED pad with advanced Yokogawa MA100 data logger, and optimize and eliminate all hot spots to make temperature rise on the every LED pad less than 35 degree . Although this GX53E 6W Led is defined as a low cost one, but it has the same robustness, reliability and long life cycle as that of the enhanced designs.
