Function 1: DC TIG 200 A

• Gas post flow time: saves the tungsten electrode against excessive wea. and protects the weld from oxidation.
• HF Ignition: high-frequency contactless ignition to the workpiece.

Only on this way you have a clean beginning and end of all welds.

The TIG welding is used for all fusion-weldable metals. In the TIG torch a tungsten electrode is used. It is needed, depending on the material, a welding filler material. In TIG welding the arc burns between a non-melt-tungsten electrode and the base metal. For the protection of tungsten electrode and melt, gases such as argon or helium or gas mixtures with non-oxidizing components are necessary.

This device is operated with DC (direct current).  You need to weld aluminum AC. We have in our shop also devices that can both AC and DC.

You can use the TIG Mode with a foot pedal, that will allow you a convenient and comfortable welding..

Function 2: Air Plasma CUT- 50

The CUT 50  is for industry, crafts and private gardening optimally suited. In the last 8 years, more than 5,000 STAHLWERK  plasma devices were used in different work situations..Easy use, stability and accuracy guarantee a cutting at the highest level.

The professional plasma cutter combines the advanced TOSHIBA MOSFET inverter technology. By V - MOSFET technology, the device has a high duty cycle of 60%. For about 13 years, this technology is proven to the IGBT system Switch on the hand grip (similar models work with cable ties)

Cutting power up to 12 mm, depending on material:

• Construction steel ST37 up to 12 mm
• V2A up to 8 mm
• Aluminium up to 7-8 mm

The device works at a high frequency ignition in contact with the workpiece, (advantage: more precise and faster cutting) With the CUT 50, you can easily cut all conductive metals such as standard steel, copper, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, titanium, etc. By the small deformation thin sheets can immediately be re-welded together An air compressor with at least 3.5 bar is required. (No more expensive gas).

Function 3:  Manual metal arc welding (MMA) with 200 amp:

• 60% Einschaltdauer bei 200 Ampere !!!

MMA welding offers many advantages. The materials must not be preheated and can be directly welded to the desired positions. Workpieces of different thickness can be linked easily with each other. Thanks to the high temperature of the arc, even a 10 x 10 mm square steel can be welded with a 3 mm plate.Such constructions and compounds occur constantly in practice, for example as the construction of a railing, making a fence or in the repair of agricultural machinery. Often U-profiles are to be welded to thinner parts. MMA welding offer a wide range of applications in industry, craft, private gardening  and construction.

What types of electrodes can be used:

1) Unalloyed steels TYP R3, A5 und AR 7

2) For sheets up to 3 mm electrode R3 -  diameter 1,5 mm, 2,00mm, 2,5 mm.

3) For stronger materials electrode R3 - diameter 3,25 mm and 4,00 mm.

4) V-welds and pipes/tubes should be welded with electrodes A5 and AR7

Antistick:prevents annealing of the electrode (less consumable electrodes), because the power is immediately terminated.
